Things to Do
Deer Creek Trail is an out-and-back trail covering 4.9 miles. A moderately-challenging hike; most people take about two hours and 20 minutes. It is a great place to hike, bike, and run, with a great view of Jordanelle Reservoir and an 862 elevation gain. Summer Night Concerts are a series of 40 concerts in the area, hosted at the Snow Park Amphitheater. The amphitheater seats 5,000 people, and hillside viewing is also available. It is great entertainment no matter the weather.
Deer Crest is also a good place for downhill mountain biking. One of the area’s most popular summer activities, getting a lift ticket and taking a biking adventure down the mountain is simple. It is great fun for people of all skill levels, and spectacular views add to the excitement.
Boulder Mountain Ranch at Deer Valley is the place to go for a horseback riding adventure. The ranch provides guided horseback rides across beautiful trails. Whether a novice or advanced rider, anyone can enjoy the views and trails. Individual and group activities are available, and guests can explore lush, forested trails for an hour or more.
